I was very excited to hear yesterday that my blog was featured on the Wives Of Faith site. This is so exciting! She talks about my couponing. Very cool. Here is the link to the site: http://www.wivesoffaith.org/july-blog-spotlight-2
I first found Wives of Faith back in 2008-2009 when I was searching for Military Spouse groups online one night. I was so lonely and was unsure if would make this Deployment on my own as a quazi-single mom. I was immediately contacted by their organization and they were so quick to help and answer any questions I had about deployments and surviving a year without your husband. They continued to pray for me and I joined their email list and was uplifted by Sarah Horn's devotional.
Sarah finished her book in 2010 "God Strong: The Military Wife's Spiritual Survival Guide." I highly recommend this book.
"Wives of Faith is a faith-based military wives support organization that began when an active Army wife and a Navy Reservist wife who were both going through deployments met for lunch in Nashville, TN one day..........."

I don't know where you are in this Military journey, but if you are like me you can't go down this road alone. Whether Army, Marine, Navy or Airforce, we spouses must stick together. Please let me know if I can ever pray for you, listen or share experiences.

Thankful for our Military Men
To all my Army Wife friends! :)

Army Wives New Season March 6th, 9pm
"Army Wives” returns for a fifth season with 13 all-new episodes, premiering Sunday, March 6 at 9 pm et/pt. The show follows the struggles, dreams and friendships of a diverse group of women — and one man — living with their spouses and families on an active Army post. The series films in Charleston, South Carolina, and stars Kim Delaney (Claudia Joy Holden), Sally Pressman (Roxy LeBlanc), Brigid Brannagh (Pamela Moran), Brian McNamara (Michael Holden), Sterling K. Brown (Roland Burton), Wendy Davis (Joan Burton), Drew Fuller (Trevor LeBlanc), Terry Serpico (Frank Sherwood) and Catherine Bell (Denise Sherwood). The series is based on the book “Army Wives” by Tanya Biank, who serves as a show consultant.
I became a HUGE fan of Army Wives back on June 3, 2007. I own Seasons 1, 2, & 4. I'm working on adding 3 to my collection as well. Its just that good. Mark Gordon is doing an excellent job of portraying as closely as possible a Hollywood version of what would be the lives of 5 women as Army Wives that are stationed at a fictional post called "Fort Marshall." If you are not a fan or have never seen the show, I highly recommend it. Have your tissues ready though, I haven't encountered a season yet that hasn't left me bawling my eyes out.
